H e W a s L o o k i n g E a s t

Today is Monday, but I have back loaded this to Saturday since it was shot that day; look at me folding space and time.

I exposed for the clouds and island so the bottom of this shot lost some detail, but this is how I saw the scene. This is about 47 miles directly west from my house, which in this shot is center under the snowy peaks on the horizon. We purchased a new car a month ago and I wanted to see how well it climbed; it did quite well taking me to 3500 ft. above the Salt Lake.

The trail was an hour of deeply grooved switchbacks and shear drops; nothing out here but wind and lightning; now I must clean the dust from the lenses and sensor.
