So, you must be shooting digital if you are posting same day. Is black and white a choice you make on the camera, or in the computer?
RE: famous photographers of the past (your previous post on C-B), one of my favorite moments of life was taking Andre Kertecz to dinner at a Hungarian restaurant in NYC. Strolling violinist came over and they spoke for a bit. He was so happy. It was a wonderful evening.
I shoot with a Nikon D200 in RAW format and do all my post production in Photoshop CS2. I could shhot B&W in camera, but I prefer the custom curves I have set up in CS2. I get film like feel to my shots this way.
